Is that the one with the wheel that gives out?

e: not knocking it - it's dirt cheap, just wondering.

No clue, I actually just won one in a contest labeling it at $79.99 MSRP which is why I know it's severely marked down from that price point haha

I've had the X17 for seven months and I can attest that the wheel loses its grip after 6 months of daily use. It's also giving me USB disconnection issues.

Shame though, I like the design of the mouse though I didn't end up using the sniper button as much as I thought I would.

Can't beat a good wired mouse in my humble opinion. Thanks OP. In for one as a backup or future build.

in my opinion, the design and an overall concept of x12 and x17 are excellent. I love every aspect of the vision for these mice. THIS BEING SAID.....
... the mouse is only as good as its weakest link, ie the pin, which guaranteeably breaks per numerous reports

Hence, x12 and x17 are an absolute NO-GO for me.

I also think Logitech g300s is a better choice than X12, which is also Ambidextrous and have onboard memory.

I use g300s at work, which I can easily use all keys. The x12 seems one side buttons are difficult to press, though x12 has 5 profiles on board.

G300s is also on sale for $15 now, on Amazon.
