Too bad they don't have the one with the clock at this deep discount. It's $30 more.

This is an early prime day deal. I don't think you're going to see any cheaper come normal prime day.

Hopefully they are cheaper during prime day. Last year was a joke and didn't get the crazy deals like before.

Echo owners; do you know if you can set up multiple timers? For example, while cooking, setting up 3 separate timers for different foods. I can't get my Google to do ANY timers/alarms, ready to try Alexa. Siri only seems to allow 1 timer.
You can

I searched but could not get a definitive answer to this. I dropped mine off (with the power brick) and asked the person there. He said he didn't know for sure either BUT because he had to test it to accept it he needed the power brick to do that.

Bottom line: if you have the brick it would be best to include it; if you don't, it will probably be OK because they haven't explicitly said otherwise.

I set timers and alarms all the time on my first gen Google home mini.
Why aren't you able to set timers or alarms?

I used to be able to, then got a new router and had to reconnect everything, now none of my 4 Google devices will do timers or alarms, which is basically all I used them for... contacted support several times with no help, they said it's a known issue, but no ETA on fixing (this was 9 months ago). Needless to say, I'm not a happy Google customer.

Others have answered that you can and that you can also name them. I highly recommend that you do so you know which timer has finished.

I like to do a timer for boiling pasta and the other for baking, but sometimes I'll sousvide at the same time and want to put the steak into the fridge for 10 minutes to rest before throwing it onto a sizzling hot pan. Naming timers is important, especially when juggling the cooking with cleaning in between. You might forget which timer you set up first or if you have multiple timers with the same length, the name helps distinguish which one finished.

It also makes it easier to cancel a specific timer.
Awesome, thanks!

The Terms & Conditions for the "25% off an Echo device" deal says valid once per account.

Worth a try, but they may cap you at 1 device with the 25% off. The rest can still be traded in though, though that will only knock off $5/device

Spoke to C/S and they said there's no limit according to the fine print the C/S read and approved a gift card amount for my second order YMMV
