This keyboard is awesome. Very visually appealing, satisfying mechanical keys, works great with flow in combination with the Master MX 3(S). Upgraded from the MX Keys and not looking back anytime soon.

Currently have the MX keys. Love the slim factor but typing on it is okay. Is the linear that much better?

Thinking about getting this and the mouse. Currently have the wired razor gaming mouse and keyboard combo but hate the wire and messy look of my desk. I am an apple user. Can anyone give me the pros and cons to this and if it's a Slick Deal?

although you can customize it the built in screenshot button is only the F7 key thats really in an inconvenient place and also its defualt setting isnt just a screenprint, but a snipping windows application that makes it really inconvenient. ive been lazy to update to the options + to customize it on my work computer but minor annoyance.

also the keys attract insane amount of oil. never knew my fingers were this oily in my life using tons of diff keyboards. but still the best productivity mechanical wireless keyboards out there imo. there are similar or arguably even better built ones but none of them can even come close to the battery life of this logitech, which i value greatly. some people say they prefer the old keys too, which i also kept, but after going back and forth a bit, it is now just sitting upside down in the corner of my desk.

mine is the tactile version though. i just like this feel of a mechanical keyboard a lot better. but ive never had any cmoplaints with the original keys either.

I actually have the linear and tactile quiet, and I think I prefer the tactile quiet. It's a close call really, and would come down to personal preference. In my opinion, both are definitely better than the MX Keys for a couple of reasons.

First, they don't have volume button issues like the OG version. The key used to get stuck digitally and turn the volume all the way up or down, but I'm pretty sure it was a software issue because the physical key was fine and only happened to the volume keys. I had two MX Keys and they both had the issue.

Second, and probably more importantly, they feel so much more satisfying to type on imo.

Are these factors worth a $40-$70 premium? I think that's up to each person, but I know I don't mind splurging on something I am going to be using every single day. If you're on the fence, I would definitely say try it out and return the keyboard if you don't think it was worth it.

I was also able to flip my MX Keys on FB marketplace for $60 within a week. That definitely made the purchase more worth it in my mind, but YMMV with this approach based on your area.

This is definitely true, this thing is the biggest fingerprint magnet I've ever had with a keyboard.
