Edit: I see many comments calling me a genius (stable I hope), Grade-A-Hole (why thank you!), and even a good troll (made my eyes water) but I see some dislikes (hulk smash). I will have you know that choppy water in a boat is very dangerous (shock emoji face) and if this stabilizer would help save lives (life raft emoji), I should know. People trying to silence-me-will-fail (super determined).

Best way to explain is yes, It's a selfie stick for videographers. It makes your camera shake not happen. You can also flip it the other way and just have better stabilization for your videos (adds a level of professional feel to it) your camera probably already has a certain degree of stabilization, this will pretty much remove all your shake.
