I've been away for a bit. I don't find a thread for CVS this week.
Sorry, I can't do a wiki, but maybe someone will, and anyway we can post our deals we come across during the week

Looking for freebie flossers today online. Showed as OOS at all of my stores. Had to go to pickup meds so I checked anyway. For the first time, Online checker was wrong. My store had tons of them.

Really? I also saw that it was showing OOS for all my stores, so even though I went into store to pick up my prescription, did not even bother checking. Well, will check tomorrow... Thanks.

I agree with hba123. Online in my area shows oos in most places except one lol. I had to go in store today to use my $1 ecb from yesterday. Plenty in the store that said oos lol. Also, just make sure you get the ones that attaches to the freebies. I'm having trouble scanning with the app, so I just type in the sku/item number to check.

Im getting back into shopping at cvs. I want to do the deal on Pantene 3 for $15 get $3 ecb. If I go to self checkout will Both the $5/3 from P&G insert and the $5/3 loaded to my card be able to be applied? I will also using a $4 ecb to pay.
TL;DR — yes

Self checkout is a bit complicated. Both coupons can work, BUT you need to do it in a specific order. I believe it's scan items, scan mfc, (edit: there is an important part here. I think you're supposed to total, then go back) then scan CARD, dqs will automatically apply, scan crts (edit: if you have any hair $/$$ threshold crts, this is the time to use it — such as $4/$18 haircare or $3/$12 cosmetic, hair, skin), and lastly scan ecbs. If I'm wrong, then hopefully someone can correct this in time.

At register, doesn't matter if you scan card first or not. Most employees will require to scan card first. After the items are scanned, make sure the mq plus any other cpns are scanned BEFORE the total button is pushed. That way both cpn will go through. If your total is too high, VOID the transaction. You can ask for subtotal if your unsure, because I know how tax can can make things complicated.

In all likelihood, this means the store has the product in the backroom, probably in a tote. A store near me used to have their whole back room full of totes. I gently harassed the manager for quite awhile. That and their inventory let to them getting most of the stuff on the shelves.

Exactly. I have the same situation. My store has plenty of floss, but nothing in the shelve. Most of the store employees would not check the backroom. Only one assistant manager I know who checks the backroom for me and most of the time he was able to find the items if the item was in-stock as per brickseek.

Thanks to missusg for quickly answering your question.

TL;DR = too long; didn't read

It was a quick way to simply answer the question. Thus, my answer was 'yes.' Of course, below my simple answer was a long essay lol

LOL. Well my two cents what I generally do IF I'm doing what you had asked. I send my $/$$ coupons as well as any digital coupons to my card. Then it's "a piece of cake" well should be. I'ts actually easy once you've done it a few times. But yeah basically like cheapsake explained.
So here was a welcome surprise I couldn't find the flossers so asked the manager on hand. She had put them all in a basket up front behind the counter, all varieties that the coupon applied to. She said just ask the cashier and pick which one I wanted. I had noticed the shelves were empty and thought once again a day late, dollar short but no Applause

Online they had photo department specials, 75% off canvases, 70% off picture tiles(among other items), and 50% off reprints. This was the FIRST time I'd ordered anything other than photo reprints, had a bunch of vacation photos from past vacations I thought would be great to display on my wall, so why not. I picked out a set of six and did it from the computer and went later to pick them up. I had $10 ECB's which I hadn't realized were up two days ago and decided it was a good way to burn some. So she rang up the photo tiles, the floss pics, and my reprint photos. I used the free $1 ECB, the coupon for the floss pics. She scanned the $10 ECB but couldn't get it to apply and she tried twice. She asked if I had sent it to card or used it already and I said no. Then she noticed the date and oh its because it's expired. So I paid the total and left. Went to a different store and used it another way at SCO with no problem.
I recall you can use ECB's on passport photos. So my question is can you NOT use ECB's for photo items? Only think I could think of as to why she couldn't get it to apply. Confused

My photo tiles btw turned out AWESOME!! Very happy!! They are framed and come with hardware to mount them on the wall

Reminder, if you are just getting the freebie item or freebie item plus a $1 item paid for with your freebie $1ecb so that your total goes to zero, don't use the cash-only self check out machine. Use the credit card/cash machine instead. Otherwise you get a visit from a staffer sent to 'help' due to the zero total.

And a shame they made the expiry date on the freebie be 1 day instead of 2. It was nice spacing out my visits. 4 or 5 trips in a week and a half is how many times I've gone in in the last 3 months. So I guess their freebie plan worked.
