6 nodes is very overkill.
Reyee WiFi 6 Router AX3200 Smart Wi-Fi Mesh Router, High Speed Wireless Router with 8 Omnidirectional Antennas, Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Computer Router for Homes up to 3000 Sq. ft. - E5 https://a.co/d/bj3T3WC
Read good reviews about it, especially compared to the Amazon brand mesh net. Curious what you guys think (those that are into these emerging techs!). Not $50, but close enough to compare performance. Thanks.

People think a wireless router is just to deliver internet to their wireless devices. People need to take these devices a lot more seriously than they do, especially as it pertains to security and privacy.

This set doesn't look all that bad, but doesn't look all that great. Can't speak to the hardware but knowing TCL I wouldn't expect this hardware to last or keep up with anything demanding.
Please advise. Thanks.
TCL is a giant in and of itself in the electronics world, and is the world's largest consumer electronics business group. TCL bought and owns many brands, including RCA. It also owns Palm, Blackberry, Alcatel, and others, and of course TCL is the 2nd biggest TV brand in the world in sales. I'm sure many people in the US own a TCL TV. So I don't really know that you can equate them with RCA.
The tcl tv is best for that price, not sure about router.. i will spend more $ on reliable brand for routet, it is seurcity n privcy's issue
Please advise. Thanks.
Traditional network device companies like Asus and Linksys often post detailed feature list and support info on their website. These rebadging companies and hey-we're-a-hip-startup (like Vilo) hides everything behind the app so it is hard to determine whether it is worth buying. If you look at Vilo's release notes [viloliving.com], they only added bridge mode, static IP, port forwarding, and fixing bugs in DHCP Reservations in recent firmware updates ... basic features that should have been in the initial firmware a year ago.

Your knowledge is wrong… buying a brand name to enter a market doesn't make you an offshoot, Tcl did not originate from RCA
