A little more than this, but get the TCL 8i with Dolby atmos, if you have a dolby atmos source , it is amazing. It is just ok if atmos is not the source, but with atmos as the source, you can feel the movie, its nuts for a stand alone sound bar
Klipsch ProMedia has better sound than this for sure, but it's not really designed for TV watching. There are little devices on Amazon that can take an optical toslink cable and then output to RCA or headphone jacks.
The Samsung. The center channel is important.

Saw the Samsung earlier but didn't want to pay too much for a new soundbar.
I manged to get one for 18 bucks. I'll have to try out an Atmos source. I figured it was more of a gimmick, but you suggest otherwise!
