Amazing price for a great router. I think I have restarted once in the last 2 years. Rock solid.
It's a 3x3 design. It's solid for the price (due to triband) but not as amazing as people like to think.
CPU is likely the 4906 variant at this point, which is the same A53 but dual core. The quad core 4908 was phased out a long ago to cut cost.
Your router is better. IPQ8065 4x4 + 4x4 QCA9984 platform with full 1W output.
Main Cpu a tad weaker. Dual core A7 vs Dual core a53, but shouldn't matter much for real world use.
Wifi 6 is just better SNR (8-9db improvement with wifi 6 client) + 10% QAM improvement at range.
Stuff like OFDMA or MU-MIMO doesn't work when you run old clients that take over an entire radio. Meaning.. unless you're only running newer clients, theres not much benefit (currently)
Netgear AX3000 wifi 6 router is only 50 bucks at Walmart.

I have had this for 18 months. For the first year it would go offline for 5 minutes twice a day for no apparent reason. After 12 months it just stopped doing this and only occasionally goes offline for a few minutes. Take your chances.

Price is more than fair. But it is a 4 years old model with probably limited support down the road... Thinking about purchasing one as a backup but not sure if it is worth the trouble.
Edit: Decided to pick one up for my parents. Thanks OP. Repped

Dude this is $100 cheapest a month ago I installed at least 70 of these The Rock solid and I feel you're complaining about what you want versus the $60 price tag this is the best deal on a router as far as I'm concerned

Good points. Thanks. Repped. Decided to pick one up for my parents.

But faster than many wifi 6 ones. Coverage should be good too given the shape
Was software updated?

Seems like an issue was the smart connect feature from the quick research I just made
