If you can wait… hyper tough shelves from Walmart regularly go on sale around Black Friday for $38. Few years ago pre-covid there was a slickdeal for $38 with caster wheels which I bought 6 of and they've been in my garage ever since. https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/611318

Expensive… especially for this quality. Even during covid you could find something like this via Walmart for $38 each.

I suspect these will come banged up with the coating scraped off around the holes on some of the shelves. During the previous sale I bought some of the smaller units and the box was not sturdy enough to protect the shelves and tore through on every one (three different carriers too). There was also some damage from them banging against each other (I suspect the plastic spacers shifted out of place once the boxes were compromised). The boxes on the chrome ones also broke through, but the damage was barely noticeable.

Thanks for the link. I'll keep an eye out for those later this year, but decided to grab four of these from Target. The target ones are 11 inches wider with everything else being equal, and I got another 10% off for "target day deals" via target circle. Came out to $50.xx for each which is a good price compared to what everyone else is charging for inferior units.

My basement is a mess and I'm in desperate need of some shelving units. I purchased a few of the plastic shelving tiers from lowes years ago and they are all caving in. Never again with plastic.

Black is much easier to see blemishes than chrome. Targets return policy is pretty good if you receive any damages unite

I hear ya! I didn't notice the the width being longer… and for $50 it's not substantially more expensive. It's a good buy don't feel bad. This gets shipped to you too whereas the Walmart one was pick up only. Also fyi these are easier to set up with a helper and use a rubber mallet gently cause the shelves will bend if you apply too much pressure even with a rubber mallet

Why this unit is rated for only 350 lbs? Isn't similar unit from Walmart usually rated for over 1000 lbs? Is 350 lbs rating for per shelf or the whole unit?
