Can someone explain to me how this trade in works? I tried both options of 13promax and 7plus, which comes out to $700+ and $1100+ respectively for out of pocket payment. Does this mean you get the difference of the $1000 in some form of rebate, similar to Costco with their mastercard rebate?

$1000 instant discount is available on trading in Samsung S21 Ultra or Z Fold 3
good news: they finally have one plus phones as official trade in option. Bad news: The TIV for one plus are laughably low. For 8T is $155, vs $525 for a same gen S20...
I can believe OP phones have less resale but not THAT much. but i get it, samsung will give you the most by far on their own phones since it locks you into their ecosystem. and also a lot for apple because, apple. everything else such as pixel they'll give a pittance for.
i'll stick with my 8t which is fantastic with 12gb ram...
