Had this in my cart forever. Finally low enough to pull the trigger. Just the tactile one that's on sale, the other triggers are still full price.

I got an additional 7 bucks off as a lightning deal, looks like it's going on for another day.

Young people don't know 10-key typing these days.

Why not? Just redundant keys taking up a bunch of desk space unless you do a lot of data entry. And if for some reason I ever need to do a lot of data entry I would rather have a standalone numpad anyway.

I got this a few weeks back, refurb, for $120 to replace my beloved, 12-year old K800 (I also paired it with a G604 to replace my M720). For $150, this is a good deal, new. This is a great KB, but the dongle and software aren't as good as their productivity counterparts.

I have occasional connectivity issues, even when the KB and dongle are 1ft apart on my desk, with direct line of sight. It took me 2 days of troubleshooting to successfully update my dongle's firmware. G Hub is full of tiny annoying things that, added together, sometimes make you wanna pull your hair out.

I'm also not alone in this. It's not a refurb issue. The Logitech forums are full of people with the same issues. Some have made it work for them, and some haven't. I'm somewhere in the middle and waffling about returning it.

If you do get this, don't just let it sit in the box. Give the keyboard and G Hub software a good run the first few days so you can surface any issues and make a decision on if you want to keep it.

Also, agree with TransTeam and Crabs. I got the TKL and a separate wireless numpad which I only occasionally pull out out of the drawer for work. Lower cost, more desk space, more flexibility. Best of both worlds.

I had the full size of this, the main reason I returned it was micro USB -_-

I owned the G915 TKL with Tactile switches and use it with my living room gaming PC. Here are my thoughts:
  • Even though the board is mechanical, it feels more like a laptop keyboard. The keycaps are thin and key presses feel shallow. However, an upside is that the keyboard is quieter (unlike a traditional mechanical keyboard, but this is still louder than membrane keyboards).
  • The connection still uses Micro USB. Not a big deal to me but may be a turn-off to some who are trying to convert over to USB-C.
  • Subjectively, the keyboard looks very classy and doesn't scream gamer at all. Perfect fit for my living room.
  • G Hub software is OK. Not great but not as terrible as people make it out to be.
  • RGB backlight turns off after a certain amount of time (I can't remember how long) to preserve battery. I don't recall a setting to keep it persistent or to have it on longer. The keycap font is also hard to read without the RGB backlight.
  • Logitech's Lightspeed wireless technology is best-in-class. When I last researched into this, there wasn't much competition in this wireless mechanical TKL space. Most other wireless keyboards have latency issues or signal issues where it cuts out randomly,

I am using one right now and that's indeed one of the most annoying things. I've gone full USB-C except for this dang thing.

For my keyboard and mouse I use an adapter that magnetizes the input (G915 / G502 - Lightspeed). I couldn't justify spending $100+ for a light speed mouse pad, so this has surprisingly worked well for me. It's essentially a usb cable with various tips that allow connectivity to be magnetized. The tips will support a variety of ports. I'm actually thinking about doing this to many of my other electronics as well.

Here is an example.

https://www.amazon.com/Magnetic-Charging-Terasako-Compatible-Smartphone/dp/B07RHVNFQ6/ref=sr_1_4?key... [amazon.com]

They work fine for the keyboard and mouse because I don't care about fast charging - I would have to see if they would continue to work on other devices (phone/tablet/laptop) with fast charging support.

I did something similar, except I used 4-conductor cables which are QC 3.0 rated and support data as well https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DFM4TZQ/

The 2-conductor magnetic tips only support power. I have a bunch of extra micro-USB tips lying around since I'm mostly USB-C, so it worked out

Good to know since a lot of my input peripherals are all micro USB. After checking out your link, I also found that the same Terasako company makes fast charging equivalents, too. https://www.amazon.com/Terasako-M...B097DCL7B8
