I believe thus single camera version is better for $125, just missing the low camera everything else is same

anyone know if you can use the separate motion detector to trigger pre-recording on this? I am pretty sure you can on other of their cams but wanted to make sure you can on this dual, too.

Can you use your existing doorbell wiring/chime with this? Have a Ring V1 setup right now that does, but wasn't sure about this one. Wished their features were easier to read (or I'm just missing it heh).

I think it does not work with normal onwall chime. The wired version comes with a remote chime which is also on lighting deal now

I have this doorbell, it's fantastic for the price. You can run it wired if you want, however it will not work with an old school chime and you need to bypass it if you're using the same circuit. Overall the combination of features, recording quality, battery life, package detection, etc. are all great and work pretty well. The fact that there's no subscription and you have local storage and don't use a cloud service is paramount IMO. I don't think it's perfect as a security device (I have 24/7 recording where my door bells are so it doesn't matter to me) but as a convenience/tracking device it's great.

I thought the battery version COULD use an existing chime whereas the wired version couldn't?

You can wire the battery version - and this comes with the HomeBase, seems like a better deal to me than the wired+chime for just $20 less 🤷
