This vs the Motorola Edge?

I know the processor on this is slower but update wise the A53 is to receive 4 years of updates which is pretty nice

At this price, I prefer a53 and at around 400, pay a bit more and get pixel or s21 fe

S10e (what I have now) vs A53 ? ... I dont need 5G but curious if the overall performance (I dont game at all) and the Cameras are worth the upgrade? ... or do I hold out for a deal on a refurb S21?

Most reviewers say the A53 is a downgrade from the slightly older Galaxy A52s 5G, which is also available for just under $300. The A52s is the same phone, but with faster more efficient CPU/GPU and headphone jack, but slightly less long term updates/support. I just bought it last week and it's a pretty nice mid-ranger.
