Except the market finally stabilized so there's no need for a suscription
The market for 3000-series GPUs is stabilizing; I don't expect 4000 or 7000 series GPUs to be easily available. The subscription is probably good for priority access to those cards.
And like I said, you're still saving $50 off of MSRP even after the added cost of the subscription. 650 for one of the best 3070 Ti cards isn't a bad deal.
You get the membership, you buy the GPU, you cancel the membership, they give you $200 - $200 = $0. The money is taken out of the membership fee. Not some retroactive charge.
So anyone buying this should consider it $650 for the GPU plus a year of TT membership.
Guessing you'd also save money on being taxed on the $450 instead of the full $650-700.
why would it be 650? \The non-TT price for the card on BB is 700.
TT benefit provides the discount of 250 bringing it down to 450. If I read the term correctly, that discount will be removed if you cancel TT within 60 days while you get the full TT refund back.
Also, when they revert such charges, taxes are almost always re-adjusted esp for a big retailers like BB.
i happen to have total tech (because I just bought the LG G1 65 which was 100 off for totaltech members and got two large TVs hauled away for free (normally 40 each), otherwise yeah it's not a good deal). I'm also in the market for a cheap-ish video card and was looking at the 3060s, but this deal looks pretty good too? How good is this deal compared to anything around the 300-450 price range? Obviously 3070 TI is gonna be better but is it worth it? Basically will there be better deals in the coming few days or from amazon or should i just jump on this and call it a day? thx!
if i had it id buy it. i think 3070 TI is usually in a bad spot price/perf ratio cuz people would opt for 3060ti/3070 if going budget or if they'd just go striaght to 3080.
but at 450, no reason not to go for it. heck, if i had someone near that had TT i'd rly kiss some ass to get it for me.

This price if you have a tt membership already can't be beat. I own this card, it's great.

Looks like it would be $200 + $450 - $0 = $650.
