I've had this coffee machine for over 7 years and its going strong.
Not sure how coffee could come out at 200C when water boils at 100C. I think it would just be steam and you'd probably have a bad time trying to drink it.

Does the coffee come out hot (like around 200°C)? I find that some of these cheaper coffee makers don't boil the water to the right temp and your extraction is subpar, leading to "watery" keurig-like coffee.

I gather you mean 200°F... I have this machine but have only used the single-serve side. It makes good coffee but it doesn't come out hot enough, especially if you want to add milk or creamer. Definitely not 200; probably not even 185.
Can't comment on the carafe side though...

Got this exact model for $36.99 in 2019. Not the slickest deal here, but it's a great coffee maker and I've had no issues with it.

Nice coffee maker - love the fact that you can make single serve cups without using pods. Used this for years until I replaced it with the Ninja Coffee Bar. Solid coffee maker and a good deal!

Thanks OP! Guests seem to always want coffee, and I use an Aeropress for myself, but it's a huge pain for any more than 1 cup. This should take care of that problem!

I'm another one who has had this for a while (about a year ago from Costco, about $80).

Didn't think I'd use the single-serve so much but it's been such a godsend. I usually brew a pot of caffeinated, and then a single serve of decaf for after 6pm or so. I get about 12oz on the single-serve side so more than enough for the eve. Prior to this I'd been forced to drink some bad instant decaf because I didnt want to hassle with brewing some (and cleanup) each night just for a serving.

It comes out quite hot for me on the single-serve side. Slight issue is that sonce I brew on "Bold" each time it comes out a little more slowly such that by the time it has all dripped out it has had a chance to cool a little. If I happen to do something while brewing a single-serve and don't cover it up right away it can be "too cool" by the time I get to it. But that's more my fault, IMO. I brew straight into a 20oz Yeti insultated.

No spitting and no rust for me. Not yet at least.

How's it to change the clock ? Can you set it easily without cycling thru am/pm and all? My current one is a real pain to go thru all to adjust for daylight saving.

Never mind, I see on the photos that there are two buttons one for hour and one for minute.

I've been using this coffee maker daily for about a year or so. My biggest beef with it is that the Teflon coating on the burner plate started wearing off almost immediately. It still works fine but the plate is now all rusty and looks like crap.
Try a quick spray paint.
