Bought this exact one last time it was on this deal. Samsung's delivery partner is complete garbage. First tv had a shattered screen. Took about a month for a replacement. Check the other thread, half of them will come shattered. That being said it's a really nice TV as long as you can wait/deal with customer service.

I bought one of the Hisense and never again. TV picture was trash. Best Buy guy that came and picked up the return said it's one of the most returned tvs. Samsung is a high quality product.

I will never buy directly from Samsung ever again. I purchased the 75" on the last deal and they lost my TV (how do you lose a 75" tv?) and then didn't have the 75" in stock so all I got was a refund and I was out the TV and a ton of my time dealing with brutally awful customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND no matter how good the deal seems.

Both have stellar rtings ratings, hard to say if this one is worth $400 more than u8g.

I'm not in expert at all in TVs. But from LTT videos, I think the big differences are in the screen tuning at the factory and the new led layer, and the interface. So all the Samsung connection and operating software that goes into the TV: Native YouTube, Netflix and what not. If that's not worth the $400, then yea, maybe the Hisense is better.

Thanks. Yeah I don't find the native apps worth $400. The YouTube app on Android TV is quite good, and Netflix works fine too.

The wider viewing angle on the Samsung is definitely something that is worth more to me, but I'm still in 2 mind in whether that's worth $400 to me.

Got mine at video only 10 months ago for $1214. Have the 75 also. The 65 is probably better in that the smaller screen and same pixel count. I sit to the far right and no identified reduction in picture quality.

Great deal but can't trust Samsung's customer service. BB won't match EDU prices. Not worth it for me.

Takes 3 months to get. And when you do the TV will have a hole in the side
