This is comparable to the Costco deal for the x90J for $200 more but it included warranty. For those who don't care about 2nd year warranty and don't want to spend $900 this is pretty good deal. But I think that deal is dead anyway.

I purchased this from a thread about five months ago - really happy with it. You can find loads of comments on the TV in that thread with about 178 replies. I'm not sure how to link it here. My family has been very pleased with the Google TV smart interface. I'm sure there may be another better smart systems out there, but compared to others we encounter on TVs when we travel this one is fantastic.

I haven't kept up with model numbers for a few years, I know Sony like other brands has a value line, mid range and then high-end non-OLED lines, right? Which does this fall under?

I have an X900F from like 4 years ago that I love, just wondering if this is an upgrade on that or not. The rtings.com rating for my TV is actually higher than this TV but is it fair to compare that way?

I bought this tv on the secondiptity refurb gamble deal that was a few months back. Reddit hates this tv but overall we have been really happy with movies, tv, etc. Great for gaming too. Built in Google tv is smooth.
