$73 at Amazon and $58.18 at Newegg, but the Newegg shipper is in China. Took a month for me to get mine, but it worked.

I've used teamgroup in many PCs and they work great.

The best deal is 2x16gb 109.99 - 20% coupon comes out to 87.99 this is for 32gb total or $44 each.
personal experience, I've built tons of laptops (refurb older corporate laptops) no issues with Teamgroup.
Didn't Micron aka Crucial Discontinue their line of Ballistix ram? I guess they can or won't compete on price?
But Yah I've purchased Crucial many many times, I do trust them for stuff, but don't agree they provide the best bang for buck.
(was also burned by Crucial Ballstix tracer way back in the old days, even the RMA replacement failed, but these chips have been fine)
to achieve 3200mhz you still need XMP. can confirm with CPUinfo look at the DRAM and double that number. 1200mhz x2 is 2400mhz, 1333x2 - 2666, 1600x2 =3200mhz etc.
so while some laptops advertise they come with 3200mhz ram, it's not running 3200mhz if XMP is not available, why manufacturer's do this is beyond me.
don't fool yourselves thinking you're getting 3200mhz speed without XMP, if your laptop doesn't support XMP you will be running at 2666 or 2400 whatever jedec was programmed for.
See attached for more info.
Just runs single channel with minimal loss of performance? Thanks for any advice

?
Seems like the Inspiron 16 had installed 1*8G PC4 3200, so it should support things like XMP that fully support 3200? O/W why bother to put a 3200 RAM there, not a cheaper 2666?
Sorry am not tech savvy just like to clear things off.
Please advice. Thanks in advance!

I would buy an 8GB chip for the G15 just because it's a cheap, simple laptop and 16GB is plenty for most use cases. But don't worry about getting a 16GB chip and having it be "mismatched"; that isn't an issue; flex mode gives full speed on the paired 8GBx2.
