Been wanting to try it out myself
These are great for small gatherings and in small areas. We have a small patio/backyard and it controls the heat very well. The family can sit pretty close to the fire to get warmth. Because the heat is mostly directed up, you don't need a huge safety radius around the fire no matter how hot it gets. Also we don't crear the smoke a regular fire makes so we don't bother the neighborhood or draw too much attention.
