If you're OK with this just being a Facebook Messenger/WhatsApp calling device for $35 for a couple of years, sure. I wouldn't put my faith in anything else continuing to work on this device though.
Edit: Looks like the video streaming apps like Netflix were only ever available on the Portal TV device, and was never available on any of these smart displays.
You will get it if you spend 35 bucks.

Seems it has not yet been cracked, so we aren't getting a good-looking Android device for thirty-five bucks. Nostalgic for the HP Touchpad fire sale.

This device is unlikely to receive much love going forward. One customer in the reviews shares that some features like Netflix and Hulu no longer work as of April 2022. It's OK if you knew this going in, but not everyone who bought it probably does. It'd have been better if Meta disclosed this on the listing itself. (It didn't.)
