Best Buy chat was able to cancel the TV for me surprisingly. The TV and sound bar are separate items on the receipt so it worked out well. You should have no problem doing it in store too I'm guessing. Came to $432 with tax for the sound bar and will be available for pickup tomorrow! Best prime day deal for me this year didn't come from Amazon!

*EDIT* I received a cancellation email from Samsung for the sound bar. I'm not sure what happened and am currently following up with Best Buy on this. Please do not follow these instructions until I'm able to clear this up. Your best bet is to try and return in store so you know if they will allow you to do so or not

thanks guys. i'm in the BB chat queue now, says 68 min wait. hopefully they can assist.

i requested the previous chat log (when i requested they cancel just the tv) be emailed to me at the end of the session but I haven't received it yet. but hopefully they can look at that and see that they goofed and offer to price match, but at this point i'm not counting on it.

bummer! i was already looking up reviews on the soundbar and getting excited for it. just goes to show you that it's not yours until it's in your possession. hopefully someone learns from my experience. i'll keep updating as this saga plays out

thanks for your condolences!

I picked my order yesterday and return TV back immediately and they gave a return receipt with zero dollar and today I got 108.74 dollars refund from Samsung. This should help all those who are not sure what to do with TV.

So pissed. Tried to order this on my phone while on my long walk and their mobile website ran like a turd on my phone and I could never get the order through even though it was in stock for delivery and to my nearby Best Buy. Bummed!

It works. Just placed my order now using PayPal. First add to cart and dont sign in to your account. Just do express checkout with PayPal or amazon pay and it should go through. Logging in makes the soundbar disappear from cart.

I got an order in for best buy pickup, but really don't need the TV. Hoping someone can comment about returning it locally.

YMMV, I think I got the last one at my local BB (Idaho), since the soundbar is no longer available for pick-up in my zip code.

I'm in the same boat, ordered the pair (don't need the TV) for local best buy pickup
It will increase the price of the item you keep and will reduce your refund. The percentage by which it will increase will only be known when you try it.
