I thought I would share this link for checking your outstanding Amazon returns as they keep burying it deeper and deeper for some reason. This is useful if you have several returns and want to check their status quickly. Otherwise, you need to go through each order one by one, and that can be a pain, if you have many orders.
Enjoy!

Open it in desktop mode. It didn't work for me in mobile until I viewed as desktop.
Costco on the other hand, sure, I will say people abuse that policy; but not Amazon's.
I've gotten warning emails from Amazon about return abuse even though I only return stuff maybe once every 3-4 months. Haven't gotten account locked and maybe it's just Bezos trying to scare people, but it's weird to read this thread with people saying they've sent back 1000 used condoms or whatever with zero consequences
I gotta ask what exactly are you buying and returning so much every month?

I often use it to get toys. If just one return, I can get a pack of 5 hot wheels for $.50. It's great!
I do believe that they used to ban people. But I think that practice has died down quite a bit now.
Besides, it's not AMZ that takes the hit when we make returns. It's the seller (the product supplier) that does!
Sounds like a challenge!
I received the wrong item once. I went to great lengths to explain to the customer service rep before returning it. Also marked the box repeatedly. Fortunately, I didn't have a problem, but I expected to have the same problem you had.

Not true. Most items are shipped by Amazon, Even if it's a marketplace seller. That means Amazon spends a lot of time and money packing and shipping your product, And then processing your return. There's still a large cost to them.

They used pooled ups numbers on Amazon returns (per ups store)
