Look for a gauge that is ANSI B40.1 certified (or ANSI B40.7 certified for digital gauges). I have this one made by AccuGage, but there are many others (like TireTek). It's certified to ANSI B40.1, "B grading", which is +/- 3% of the span in the lower 25% of the scale, +/- 2% of span in the middle 50% of the scale, and +/- 3% in the upper 25% of the scale.

doesn't require batteries 🤷. marginally harder to read, if at all

I was about to jump on this and saw the range is 0-100 PSI. Most car/SUV/minivans are in the 26 to 35 PSI meaning it will be hard to get a precise reading as the range is too wide. Was hope it would 0-60, so hard pass

Harbor Freight $7.99 and you can use the FP 30% off on it to make it slicker.

How does the Harbor Freight version compare against the one advertised here?

I bought 2 gouges identical to this one from Amazon. They both were 2-3psi off.

I'll give this one a try. Thanks.

Every pressure gauge seems to have bad reviews and accuracy issues. I would pay more to get a solid tire pressure gauge.

The harbor freight has a more realistic range for cars, 0-60psi.

pens are better cause its still "analog" you wont have to constantly hold pressure until you get a reading

Waste on money.
Use your car computer to tell you wot the tyre pressures are. Just gotta figure out how to use on board computer.

Most cars will get way too low (like 20 psi) before TPMS light goes off.

Not all cars use TPMS, not even all new cars.

If all you need is to manually Guage pressure, then I think DT might have one, will get the job done

I carry this in my tool kit for motorcycle riding. Only downfall I have with this product is that it can be tricky to get into position when you're checking pressure on spoked motorcycle wheels. The head is at a ~45° angle and can be a pain in the butt. Still works for what it does but you'll probably have to finagle it for a few seconds/minutes to get a good reading. Much easier if you have one with a ~90° head.

I love manual tire gauges because they don't need a battery and are pretty accurate.

repped. Thanks.

I thought it was required by law to have low air in tire sensors? Just some cars show PSI and some just only tell you when tires are very low like <20 PSI.
