    I've had one for 5 years in daily home use; it works and is accurate. The one drawback is it's somewhat slow to read: if your pouring/adding an ingredient to reach the weight specified in a recipe, it lags a second or so....so you overshoot the amount you want.

    I use mine daily to brew coffee and every now and then to make dough. It's a solid scale. This style does pretty good with large bowls. This is a good deal.

    Cheap copy of the Escali Primo P115C which I have and like for its reliability and accuracy. Escali also has great customer service. Yes Escali is 3x the price right now. If I needed to replace I would still pay $24 over $7 for this thing. But that's me.

    What do you like about the Escali that you don't like about the Ozeri?

    The Ozeri is recommended as an alternative to the Escali and appears on "The Best Food Scales" lists quite often.

    1 gram accuracy is pretty damn good. It's a food scale, after all. That's all the accuracy you need for recipes, or calorie counting, or whatever you plan to use it for in a kitchen. If you are using it to weigh gold dust, or other expensive powdered substances, you probably want to invest in one that goes down to .1g, but you won't find that for under $8 bucks. For most people, this is a great deal.

    I've what I'm pretty sure is the same scale in green for years and it works great. I've never checked it's accuracy, but I never thought it was wrong. Great scale for the pice.
