Edit: Decided to order this. I can always screw some 1 bys on the bottom to keep them connected. My daughters will tear apart any couch so I'd rather get a good deal then top quality.

Search Amazon for sectional couch hooks and that's what you can screw into the sides of each piece so you can lock them together. And if you need to take apart, you just lift the one piece up to unhitch them. Probably a better solution than permanent screws
Could use a section to make a chase on one side and the footrest for the other

If you're on a hard surface, I could imagine little rubber feet would be able to keep them in place?
How is it? Comfortable? Soft? Or firm?
It is firm. I like it that way though. Husband dislike it, he prefers soft. But I am the wife, so my preference reign supreme. 😀 kids have been jumping on it too, so far so good.
