This isn't the Toshiba you or your pops grew up with I believe.
It doesn't sound like Dell wants to sell TVs at this time:
"Beginning February 4th, 2021, Dell Technologies is no longer selling TVs as part of our Home Theater solutions. "
Bought today but will return. Picture quality streaming just sucks. Everything too dark and brightness does not go up very high. The interface is bright and thumbnails are bright in fireTV OS. So why playing the movie is so dark? I don't get it.

One review said nits 450.

Sound was really good.

Also fireTV fonts are blurry in the UI. I would think it would be blurry for games as well in that case.

Also don't know why they disabled 120hz for HDMI inputs. If that worked perhaps I could even overlook other issues. But all these things together I rather not bother with hauling it up wall mount and trouble of installing it.

For $730 it is good deal. But I think will spend more for something better. It's almost like Toshiba intentionally made the TV worse because of price.

Going to return and look for something else.

Is this suppose to be same as Hisense u7g? Because I was thinking of buying that. If it's the same I probably would skip the Hisense as well.

Wish I could get this at Dell so I could use the AMEX $120 OFF $599+ offer to make it an even sweeter deal

It's a little buried underneath the price, beneath the return period message.

It's only 60 hz through hdmi. No idea why they did it that way.

I got this today, was fairly impressed. For budget tv, the panel streams at 120hz (all apps, UI Is super quick and snappy) but inputs are limited to 60hz… but I bought it for a bedroom and stream out of firetv apps primarily. Which serves my purpose for 120hz viewing… if your using a 3rd part streaming stick… it is 60hz streaming. Alexa integration was cool, basic functions allow you to speak what apps you want to open etc turn on and off the tv with your voice. Brightness on my panel was really high… I had to set it lower… to each their own. I sit 20ft away, font look fine, but up close they are blurry… don't get this for a small room. Sound was super load, 1/3rd he volume was just too loud

Did you notice anything about the motion setting to smooth that everyone complains about? I am not sure I notice the issue

Sounds like a lemon. It's suppose to be a bright tv.

My TV (I have the 65) is plenty bright. In fact I do not need to keep it at the max setting. When I set the picture mode to otther modes than standard it can darken thehe picture but thats just what those settings do.

One setting the tv lacks is a picture size adjustment (aspect ratio) . To stretch the screen to get rid of the black bars. Or I can't find the setting.
