Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
It's full AndroidTV. Meaning that it has the Playstore, Google assistant, and can also side load apps very easily
Remote is very good, except for the dedicated Netflix, etc. buttons (I don't care for those)
I haven't used it for gaming tho
I've had it for about 1 year and also have a Chromecast with remote. They're basically the same thing. For the price, I'd go for this anytime, I've seen them new at Walmart for $15. Price new is $20.
I would stay away from the Fire sticks, tv, etc. (unless you're really invested in that ecosystem)
And in haven't really used a RokuTV, but I can't see how it would be better than this, specially with the AndroidOS backing it
It doesn't state that the VIPoutlet listing is refurbished, but is it safe to assume it's a refurb? If that's the case, I'd rather pay the extra $4 to get it directly from Walmart.

You may also get 6 months of Peacock premium free with purchase. I hope it applies to this seller and not just for Walmart purchase. If so , it is a no brainer.
I bought and returned to Walmart. Not sure if that particular unit was defective but it had sound problems especially with Kodi. Tried all kind of settings and some videos didn't output sound or had to be turned on at a very high level. Ran into same issues with some other less popular apps. The major apps like Netflix, Primevideo etc work fine.
No issues with the same apps in Chromecast and firestick.

There is an unofficial lineagesos rom with an active developer.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/...s.4313743/
The lineageos rom is android tv 12 with some parts of google tv.
I haven't loaded it yet because the stock android tv 10 works fine for what i do.
But it's good to know that if onn stops updating, that I can move to a unofficial rom.
Then again you probably have alternative sources for content if you're flashing roms.
