Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank paperwastage
That said, I'm going to assume soldered ram because it's thin like a piece of paper, and this thing is going to be so dated by the time you purchase it, who would use this anyway, a traveling photographer? Is that even ok?

I think the OLED Zenbook with 12gen was a better deal at $500, I bought that one. I haven't tried Lightroom on it.
At $370 open box it's pretty sweet.

The MX450 is probably a little better than Intel Xe, but I'd be concerned about heat.
THE GOOD
improved build quality and ergonomics over the previous generation
OLED or IPS screen options, now with 180 angle
good inputs and IO
balanced performance; way faster than before in CPU demanding loads
75 Wh battery, but only average runtimes
still competitively priced in its class
THE BAD
fair bit heavier than previous generation
most of the IO is on the right side now
noisy on the Performance mode
only average runtimes with the Intel Core P specs

The zen book's 8gb ram filled up pretty much immediately. Tough to use it for anything beyond homework or browsing recipes. Was very tough to let go of that OLED 😑
IMO Acer was much better value due to the reasons stated above as well as 2+2 Costco warranty.
