Is anyone else sick of the Energizer flashlight posts? Several a day, every day.

The self discharge of AA batteries is relatively low. So for puproses where it's not regularly used but the battery isn't reacharged as well, it might be useful.

IDK. When you have enough lights to arm your 7-member family each with a headlamp, a lantern, and a flashlight for each hand, with a few lights to spare?

You might be overdoing it a bit... laugh out loud

Batteries come with the flashlight so basically you are paying for the batteries and getting the flashlight for free.

Agreed, but I'm not talking about flashlight deals in general, just Eveready deals. Do a search. There are several every single day starting a few weeks ago. SD has some new deal with them.

Think of the flashlights as storage compartments for your wife's vibrators.

I got this but I don't think it's brighter than the following energizer 1000 lumen flashlight:

Energizer Vision HD Rechargeable LED Flashlight with Digital Focus

One good thing that's not mentioned on the product page though, is that this is actually made of aircraft grade aluminum, same as the Energizer T1000 LED Tactical Flashlights

It's sort of strange, it does do 1800 lumens, but only in strobe mode.

It does have 7 modes with four LEDs.
Two LEDs are narrow beam, and two LEDs are wide beam.
1. High - all four bulbs at half power
2. Low - all four bulbs are much lower power.
3. High Wide - two wide LEDs at full power
4. Low Wide - two wide LEDs at much lower power
5. High Narrow - two narrow LEDs at full power
6. Low Narrow - two narrow LEDs at much lower power
7. Strobe - all four bulbs at FULL POWER

Terrible user interface to switch between wide and narrow, you have to hold down the button as it slowly shifts from wide to narrow and back. They call it "Digital Focus".
