Hack, When you place the order online, the saw will be $290.51 and the stand will be $108.49 for a total of $399. If you have them shipped to you or picked up at the same store, just return one of the items you don't want. You could also set the pickup location as two different stores and just not pick up the one you don't want as it will automatically cancel after 7 days. You can't have one shipped and the other one picked up, the system will give an error.
Note: I was in the store this afternoon when I originally saw this deal posted in the Tool area. When it rang up in the store, it gave $149 discount and didn't reduce the price of both so you can return one you don't want. So it appears you can only do the Hack via an online order.

Liked the hack of pickup from two different locations. That makes it easier to apply the hack.
That's a good price on the stand and a nice stand too. I thing the rolling ones that store sideways like this are the best kind. I have a similar Bosch one.

I had experience with the $5 off $50... let's say if I were to buy two items that were $25 each then each item gets $2.50 promo off.
If I return one of the two items, they will refund $22.50 plus tax. So the other item still received a partial discount from the coupon. I believe they calculate this based on the cost of the item. Hope this answers it.

The vast majority of these saws don't have this problem. If you happen to be unlucky enough to get a bad one, exchange it, get it fixed, or return it.
But for trim work, if it were me, to get the best cuts possible, I wouldn't even be looking at a big slider in the first place.
