I was trying to buy a garden hose reel. This showed up in my local Sam's club, marked $40 off. Online price is the same $59.91 if you select local pick up.

I got this in 2020 for about $80 and that was a clearance price I thought was great so $60 is a steal. You won't find a cheaper cart than this, period. Great builds quality for the price. It's a really nice hose reel cart considering many go for $120+. It does however rust at all the weld points and seams. I sprayed a cold galvanizing compound of Rust-Oleum over those areas and while looks spotty since I was lazy and didn't want to do whole thing, been going for about a year with this and no new rust.

I don't really pull it around my yard I've found. Sits on back patio. I have my 100' Craftsman rubber hose and I'm constantly using it in this heat to water a bunch of newly planted trees and flowers in my yard. I'm lazy to wind up 100' every other day so I leave it pulled out and sitting in lawn. I have wound up 150' in this thing no problem.

It works when needed, but you need to also "neatly" wind it up and guide the hose next to itself as you wind it up, otherwise it'll wind funky if you reel it up in a hurry and it will get tangled and when you pull it off the reel it'll get boogered/tangled and you'll get pissed off like I found out haha.

So it does take extra care and time to wind up, hence why I leave it out and wind up before winter. Just things to be aware of.

Rather than lug this cart back and forth to front yard, I splurged and bought one of those nice Liberty hose reels on Amazon to mount on my brick and it swivels so I can wind it up or pull it out no matter what direction I go in the yard. It was $116 on Prime Day:

I think it's so you can use it on multiple hose bibs. So, for instance my house has 3. Two on the front, each side, and one rear. I'd be able to roll it out front and move it back afterwards. Easier that rolling it over my shoulder, but how much that convenience is worth is debatable.

Thanks, I'm in for one. Pick up tomorrow. Checked 2 stores around me, they were $80, finally found one fairly close. ✌️
