Some items have little to one size available. Some items arent a deal. When community members or myself post deal threads for individual items, usually we are looking through dozens to hundreds of pages for both a good price, look, and many sizes. Individual posts also can trigger deal alerts for people who might not have otherwise seen them.

Just bought it like few days ago and wore it already. Then, my wife told me that I can just order a new one and return with the new shoes for the old receipt. Brilliant!

Nike is infamous for raising its prices before releasing coupons like these. Something to keep mindful of.

D'oh. I ordered last week and got like the last size 11 they had. Still hasn't shipped.... I wonder if they'll credit the code.

Not really. What the person you quoted is saying that before the sale something would be like $80. What they are saying Nike does is offer a 20% coupon, but they raise the price of the item back to $100 so in the end you're still paying $80, like there was no discount.

All you can do is make sure you track prices on an item and only buy when it's actually lower than its street price.

Seems like a good deal.

Extra 20% isn't worth it to me though... My last Nike order was for 4 shoes and they all had to be returned due to marks, dirty excessive glue/residue and various other types of damage. Hard for me to say this but their quality as of late has recently broken my brand loyalty. Maybe at 50% off it's worth the hassle of wasting my time going to the UPS store to return them.

Bought some other shoes from another brand, amazing! With such a low bar set I was just happy there wasn't glue or marks all over them.

This sale is BS - I've been keeping an eye on a pair of basketball shoes, recently they were on sale for around $100. Now I see that Nike increased the price to $126, when I apply 20% off from this sale the discounted price gets be around $100 again... I hate when companies play these silly games with sales!
