Battery life is great and the light in the middle will slowly blink red when it's time to replace it. If you install the Logitech software it'll tell you when it's getting low too.
This mouse feels like it'll last forever, unlike others I've had where the index and middle finger clickers began to weaken and lose their tactile feel. The springs in these buttons are still going strong.
I bought this deal the last time it rolled around a few months ago because it was around $11. I still haven't opened the package as I'm still using the one I had. I prefer the black color, but this blue is fine.

I really want to like it, but the scroll wheel on the one I purchased recently is very stiff and the middle section of the mouse is so narrow it causes my hand to cramp. If it fits ones hand though, it's very good for the price.

Logitech used to be nice about giving warranty replacements outside of the warranty period but they're stricter about it now. Also warranty replacements take a while so I usually just buy another mouse to use in the interim and then give away the replacement mouse when it arrives.
