I wish our government had good subsidies for electric scooters. It's more realistic to buy a good and nice electric scooter around $1k than $50k Tesla or many other inflated electric cars. IMO, this would help the planet more if we can educated the people and build better infrastructure for public transport and bikes in general. But everything we do lately is so backwards. Sorry for making it too political
That rating is going to be best case.

Real life example: I weigh 210 lbs, took it 4 miles in sport mode, with some steep hills this past weekend, and it used 35% battery.
A scooter uses less than 1/100th of the raw materials that an average car uses, if we are talking about perspective.

Average car weight: 4094 pounds.
For simplicity, we'll say the average scooter weight is 40.9 pounds, but it's probably lighter.

Electric scooters are not environmentally friendly whatsoever. Where do you think the batteries come from and go where they are depleted? These are still very dirty from an environmental perspective.
But, lesser of the two evil, way lesser

Ebike tax credit.
Tesla (maybe even Chevy?) get government subsidies? Wow, I need to check them out.

Maybe if the government stopped subsidizing oil plague companies then you could get yourself a scooter…

Also, check facts before making things "political".

Making what political...? There is legislation pending for ebike tax credit.

Also I have a MTB and motorcycle, no scooter aside from rentals nearby.

I was looking something I carry in my rv and city I travel to ride around. Maybe in the canyons or trailers too. This is the one I need to look. Or something with different specifics? We have 2 mountain bikes already. I could look also electric bikes not sure yet. Something smaller than electric bike maybe I can carry when I reach the destination that's why these are looking little better for me. Some people mention lighter weight scooters also that's probably better I guess to carry around. Let's say I went to Florida I leave my RV and want to go Miami Beach or in California. I want to leave my RV in the park and ride in the LA or San Diego. What you think guys?

Please google strategic plans of major auto makers. Most don't even plan to build ICE vehicles after a few years. And its not something they can just change their mind on - all of their investments is going to electric only so gas engines are 100% dead in the next 4-5 years. The high oil prices was the final nail in the coffin.

They won't build new gas engines after 2030 but the hundreds of millions of gas vehicles around now mean gas stations will be around for a long time. Will be really interesting to see what happens with gas prices

That's why they always state "up to" ex miles. If you are 80 lbs on flat roads with a new battery etc.

According to these facts, ICE bans in most places around the world won't really kick in until about 2040. Its based on cutting off production of new gas vehicles, mostly, but few places are trying to ban ICE entirely.

https://www.coltura.org/world-gasoline-phaseouts

Im sure they will end up extending the dates as difficulties may prove that it will take more time

Unfortunately, like it or not, reality is gas engines will soon disappear. The only engines still being promoted at trade shows are industrial diesels.

I have had the G30P version with max 40 miles range and I have ridden about 800 miles on it in 15 months. Here are my 2 cents if it can help others (some things have already been pointed out above).
- It is very sturdy and feels quite safe while riding.
- The real world range is more like 20 miles, which isn't an issue for me because my usual trips are max 2-3 miles.
- It is super heavy and I wouldn't want to carry it. That's why I don't use it on public transport.
- I ride it together with my 4 year old and mainly use for school drop offs and pickups and to take my kid to the park, doc visit etc.The base is large enough for both of us. I also use for grocery shopping and small errands.
- The ride is VERY bumpy. If the road isn't great, you will feel every single crack, bump, pothole in the road. In fact, in the first few months after getting this, I started getting back pain which took me a long time to realize that it was the scooter causing it. There are train tracks near where I live and I have to pretty much go over them every time I take it to ride. So I started walking my scooter on them and my back pain has reduced by 95%. Due to this reason, I would never buy Unagi for example, whose weight I love but it has solid tires which are even harsher. I dread anything harsher than my scooter.
- I have considered adding suspension, but it's beyond my DIY capabilities. I haven't yet found a store that provides this service, but I'll be happy to pay a couple of hundred dollars for it.

Sorry for the long post. Bottom line is that for my use case, this has been an awesome buy and I feel I have already recouped much more than what I paid for. However, I do wish it had suspensions because that is the only thing I hate about it.

Happy to answer any questions if you have.

Everyone that has this, how are you securing it when you take it somewhere? It doesn't look like there is a good way to lock it up.

Why not Hiboy KS4 Pro Premium, with taller handlbars, 500watt motor, flat resistant wheels, shock absorbers and almost same price?

I have a G30P (40 mile range) and a G30LP (25 mile range).
LP weights less and has a shorter wheel base and handle bars are slightly shorter.
In my opinion the LP charger is inferior because it requires a power supply brick in the middle of the cord. G30P power brick is built into the scooter so it only requires a fairly standard cord and far easier to transport/replace.
G30P also has a nice water tight (ish) charger port cover on a hinge, LP's is flimsy rubber and insecure.

But this is G30LP Max? So what Max adds to the scooter and what is the difference between G30LP Max and G30P Max (if there is any?)

I bought this last year. Have had no issues. If you want the seat, this bundle is the best deal I have seen. I wouldn't wait. I almost picked up a second but want to get a bike instead.
