Saw this earlier.. wasn't using this card anymore but now it moves to be top. Wish all Amex still had extended warranty option though..

I recently emailed us alliance when I was considering applying for their card. They confirmed in no uncertain terms that the 3% deal ends after this year. Permanently.

Ask them yourself... Then I bet you'll quit promoting their trash. 🤷 ♂️

This works nicely along with Bofa Customized since the Bofa bonus 3% caps at $2,500 spend per quarter, while Amex is $6000 for the whole year but has no quarter limit

Is this by invitation only? Or automatic for every BCE card, I didn't get any email

Yes, but you can have more than one card (and can have a biz card with some overlap and additional category options too).

For example I have one getting 5.25% on online, and another getting 5.25% on gas in quarters without 5x from Chase Freedom.... (there's not really a 3rd category that'd be worthwhile to me or I'd have a 3rd one)

We need this added to Preferred or Cash Magnet or something. For now I will continue with BofA, don't need a hard pull just for this Everyday card.

Still at the bottom for me. With a few different cards it isn't hard to be getting 5% back on gas and grocery purchases year round. Online retail at 3% is decent but there are often 5% paypal quarters for discover and chase or 3% with paypal + paypal mastercard.
