Thumbs up!
It's crazy that they are shipping these large workstation laptops with a battery that is even smaller than the one in their 14" 2.5lbs Thinkpad Carbon X1 (57Whr).
And how there is another deal posted on SD for a crazy spec T14s with 32GB DDR5, but with a shitty 300nit 45% NTSC display.
Not sure WTF is going on at Lenovo.

I hope so, since the chassis should be compatible with both batteries.

Here's the 52Wh battery photo for T16 (Intel). There are a lot of empty space in the assembly. Presumably the bigger one will fill the whole thing

The power that 6800U package draws is not very high (in my memory it's 28w or so). The Intel chips draw a much higher power. And this is evident in the noise an Intel laptop produces. This laptop remains quiet or low noise in almost all workloads. I play Anno 1800 on low setting under 4K resolution with the integrated 680M graphics card (I have low expectations and is OK with 30FPS). The laptop remains quiet during the game.
Other performance factors. I got more than 10k in Cinebench R23 multithread with and without power cord (same score), 2500 in Time Spy with and without power cord (same score). The laptop produces low noise running those benchmarks.
To me, the most important factor is that 6800U runs Quickbooks Pro flawlessly, while I have trouble starting the software on 11th or 12th gen Intel processors (takes like 5 minutes to open the program, usually it should be 30 seconds). I have owned more than 3 said Intel processors, all of them has the issue. Lenovo rep confirmed the said issue and told me a patch from Intel is to be released next month.
When would you pick one over the other?
Would one be faster?
Would one be cooler/quieter fans?
