i think the lowest i've ever seen sony's flagship go for was less than 200 at target for the xm2. $228 is a pretty standard sale price for them once they get old. i got the xm1 for $228 on black friday of 2016

Im hopefully upgrading to these soon from my old Beats Studio Wireless 2's. My Beats have been dropped, caught in a few rain storms, and worn weekly if not daily for intense basketball/running workouts for 6+ years and still work fine. Ready to move on and to get some real noise cancellation too along with better range. I want to leave my phone in my gym bag while I workout instead of it flying out of my pocket every layup or dunk I do. USB C too is also what im looking forward too.

I got it years ago on a verizon deal, but i own these it's a buy. I'd not spend 400 for the new ones. that's insane. they are good as long as you don't need to make calls.
