If you are actually going to use the account or can auto pay some bills with debit, you might consider Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union. 3.3% for up to $20k balance with 15 debit transactions and a monthly dd. The dd can be a deposit from almost any bank. I auto-transfer in $10 from ally monthly and have the cable bill to autopay $2, 15 times a month to earn the preferred rate.
Boo...
Bonuses are for people who don't have existing Chase checking or savings accounts, or those whose accounts have not been closed within the last 90 days. Keep in mind, you can receive only one new checking and one new savings account opening related bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date and only one bonus per account.
Left Chase earlier this year for Sofi because of the sign up bonuses and interest rates.
Sofi currently has a 1.8% interest rate on both checking and savings and Chase still has a 0.01% Savings interest rate even after all the Fed hikes.
Obviously the Chase bonus is great for bonus churners and the people who actually go into banks in 2022 but I'm not switching back for 0.01%.

$15,000 won't help you to earn $600 interest for 90 days in any US banking system....

Again it's great for churners. But the majority of people are not going to jump from bank to bank, set up a new direct deposit and transfer large sums of money around for $600.
Which I suppose is exactly what Chase is counting on. It's a good deal if you are prepared to jump again after 90 days otherwise you are getting nothing from that awful 0.01% interest on a savings account.

Never mind, I was able to open the accounts, $600 for 3 months, not bad at all, I will also switch my bank from Key to Chase anyway.

That's a darn lie, I can just as easy go get a cashier's check for 15k from by bank. Keep things totally unlinked or pvt. ..drive it over and set up an acct. Deposit..let it sit for 100-180 days, cancel. I have time to do it because it's take nothing to do on my way home. Easy 600 bucks.
.Repeat with Fargo then chase promo, again
To get the $600 only takes 90 days but to keep the $600 when you close the account requires 6 months otherwise they retract the bonus monies
How long does the account have to stay open?
Interested in doing this for myself and the gf
Account Closing: If either the checking or savings account is closed by the customer or Chase within six months after coupon enrollment, we will deduct the bonus amount for that account at closing.
Great for churners for sure. But personally if I have $15,000+ sitting around in a savings account I'd rather it was earning interest for me and not just the bank.
any suggestion given how low interest rates are (although it is going up)? $15K for 90 days to earn $600 is not bad and beats whatever interest rates I can find out there.
I've never had a chase checking or savings account and I kept getting that stupid error (I've had plenty of chase credit cards).
I was able to get it to work by using the Brave browser so I'm all set now. I did create a new username in the process so it's a little annoying that I couldn't use my existing chase credit card login...
I've had ur issue before, couldn't use existing login --- because then they knew I already was a customer & had a checking acct! I had to use an email they never saw before.... but weird if you've never had an acct before (not just had one & closed it?). Once they had my SSN, it all linked back to my existing login tho. They have always paid out if I followed all the rules. After you get the $200 savings promos, you can take all the savings $ out and leave $300 for the remainder 3 months to avoid savings fees. But you will no longer have the $1500 min daily balance for fee free checking if u were using the savings to qualify for that & will need to use other means.

Be careful because they will claw back the bonus if you don't keep the acct open for the 6mo (or whatever - check the small print). I also had a savings acct last opened < 2yrs ago, and they are very unyielding on that as well as a non-qualifier. Opening in branch is best, because they can tell you if you are not qualifying right away. If you do qualify, they will give you a printout with the rules to get the bonus.

I have an 850 credit score and gave them all my info and it was accurate. This is a data mining scam.
