I bought one of these types of playsets from Costco during the pandemic year (2020) when the schools and parks were closed. Same type with the tube slide. I have a construction background and put it together myself. It took about 20-25 hours solo. The tube slide was a total $@%^&. I had to watch a couple of videos to get the process right. I did it myself cuz I enjoy working with tools and doing projects.

If you're not handy, or don't have the time to dedicate toward doing it yourself, hire someone. Look online (craigs list or what have you) and you'll find people who put these together as a side job. Expect to pay a couple hundred (no more than $500).

If you do it yourself and you have a helper or two, be sure to look thru the directions first cuz a lot of this can be sped up by having each of you put different parts together at the same time. It's a lot of small parts that eventually go together. You can save a lot of time by having someone put one section together while you do another.

Oh, and my kids have loved it since day one. They still play on it everyday.

I bought this for the higher price and putting it together is not for the faint of heart. Hundreds of pieces and will take you days to complete it. Good quality and my daughter loves it.

When i saw multiple large bags of screws, i looked for someone on craigstlist to install it. Easily worth $250. The tube is very difficult to install. Everything else just takes time

How do you specify if you want the slide-on-the-left version or the slide-on-the-right version?

Great deal, paid $1,000 last year for the version with the monkey bars. The stain is already fading in the Florida sun, but it's totally expected to have to re-seal frequently. The wood itself is holding up great, no issues with breakdown or stability. It's just aesthetic fading. We're waiting until it fades a little bit more and we're painting it to match our house colors.

Be ware some of the parts may break during shipping. Ours was delivered with foundational pieces broken. We called Walmart and they told us to contact KidKraft for replacement parts., we did it but It's been over a month and we still don't have the parts from KidKraft, and I'm calling them in a regular basis, they say pieces are back ordered and but they made an exception after all the pressure I put in the calls, they say 2 weeks ago that they'll make them in their workshop, last week I called them they say are ready but don't know when they'll ship them, everything has been a mess and I don't know why KidKraft has being having problems with 2 pieces of wood, maybe they are discontinued or something but beware of this, because our experience has being very bad from KidKraft

Any idea dimensions of this set once all pieces put together? I could only see 5 boxes dimensions on Walmart description but not the actual product

Sorry to hear you've been getting the runaround. Interestingly, I wrote in on their website and had pieces in-hand less than a week later so this must be highly dependent on which pieces are broken.
