Looks nice but if you don't need the battery feature some other options are cheaper. Lasko 20" shop fan at Sam's for $59.99 currently.
edit: thanks for the TD, apologies for actually posting something that was on topic and added to the conversation and even suggested an alternative product currently available. in the future I'll work on just clogging the thread with off.topic crap and dumb questions that I'm too lazy to figure out myself.

also... how rustproof is this fan? I want to use it in a covered porch... won't come in contact with rain, but will the outdoor humidity cause rust?

I think not being in the battery ecosystem would probably be the biggest consideration but for anyone already in it, it's a huge recommend from me.

Where this one really shines for me if when we had a power outage. Not going to replace my central air, but it'll still help a ton with the hot house.
Interesting, you've had two power outages since you bought the fan? Hmmm, I think the last power outage we had, at least anything more than a few minutes, was about 15 years ago, lol. I live in the boonies too!
