Even though the ram is soldered to the motherboard, it can handle everyday tasks such as document creation and editing, web browsing, zoom and any other program that isn't ram heavy. I have only tested photoshop 2021 version and it worked well; however, my web browser was closed so your mileage may vary.
It does charge via USB C. There is a total of four USB ports; 2 USB C and 2 USB A. For those who are not aware, the laptop does feature and denim top which attracts dirt and the like, so keeping it clean is a must.
I purchased mine last year at $550, which I found quite valuable. If you are considering this for someone who plays games such as Roblox and Genshin Impact, it plays well with those games. All in all a great value at $500.
Sadly they didn't update the processor: 5500u is really 4500u, based on Zen 2. That's why it's so cheap.

This may be the cause of our yoga 14s cracked screen.. Basically glue holding screen doesn't hold, allows metal hinge edge 2 impact screen, cracking it.
one of the last threads mentions Lenovo rep. took some action, permitted owner to buy an extended warranty and apply for repair under it.
