I bought all of the individual seasons and DLC for around $5 each, so I probably spent $30. I played all of them except seasons 3 and 4 which I need to do soon. This bundle forced me to do some research since it's the best price on the Definitive Edition.

Humble is giving you the individual keys for all of the separate seasons and then in the top tier the Definitive Edition which has all the games bundled again in a single key with a bunch of improvements and extras. So you get each game twice, and I doubt anyone wants the individual seasons, so expect a flood of those to be given away on various sites. Saints & Sinners is a waste for me because I don't have nor plan to buy an expensive VR set.

If you bought the seasons individually and paid a lot more money, the developers thought you don't deserve to get the graphical and optimization improvements via a Steam update but instead they are withholding those to try to make you double dip to the Definitive Edition. I'd love to middle finger them due to their greed, but unfortunately those improvements are significant and I still need to pay seasons 3-4.

I feared the new "graphic black" option would change everything to black and white, but it just toned down the colors and gave everything better contrast. The screenshots I saw were definitely superior.

I'm offended I have to pay $11 to get the graphical and optimization improvements, but in context I get ripped off far more than $11 every daily with inflation, so what's $11 for an improved experience on seasons 3-4 I want to play soon?

TLDR: If you like TWD games, there's no point in getting anything besides the Definitive Edition in the $11 tier. The games in the lower tiers are effectively inferior duplicate keys.
Hmm, should I spend $11 to add more games I'll never play to my Steam library? No, but I'm going to anyway.
Or you can get the Definitive Edition key from Eneba for $3.

I've only played about 1.5 of these, so I'm excited to finally play the entire run of them. Great deal

Actually these are worth a play, at least the first game was. The story really sucks you in.

Got the top tier for the definitive edition, already played season 1 and 2. But will be nice to play them all through together. And if the first poster is correct it will be nice to have the graphics improvements.

Also excited it's verified on the steam deck so can play for a bit before bed. Hear good things for the VR game too so it's a pretty good deal for $11. Guess one of my friends are getting the other copies.

Well I didn't know about the definitive edition. I guess that's a better way to go for replaying.

There is no reason to get anything besides the definitive edition which you can get cheaper on a key site like Eneba

The Humble Bundle does offer the The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners [steampowered.com] ($39.99 reg. price on Steam). That game has mostly positive reviews.

$11 for the VR game and all the others doesn't seem bad. I would pick it up, but I got the VR game last time around and I already own all of The Walking Dead games already.

I'm not trying to thread crap or anything, but everyone should know, these "games" are episodic visual novels with very little control as to what the actual outcome of the story will be. Think of them as AAA porn "meet and f***" sort of games, or the old choose your own path books from the 80s. You won't be running around chopping zombies heads off and all that, they follow a specific story path which you are basically watching. Yes, there are "choices" but ultimately, the story will end the way Telltale wroke it, regardless of the "choices" you make.

Cheers,

If you have a VR headset, Saints and Sinners for $11 is a great deal by itself.

Except Saints and Sinners where you will be chopping off Zombie Heads in VR
