I am planning following:

2 Colgate @4.99 = $9.98
3 CG eye @6.79 = $20.37
4 Hallmark approx $10
Total = $40.35
-$8/40
-$6 CG (3 x $2)
-$3 CG weekly
-$9 Hallmark (3 x $3/4 - one in grace)
-$4 Colgate (2 x $2 dq)

Ideal would be pay $10.35, get $8 CG, $4 Colgate, but I may have to pay a little more as $2 would be taken off Hallmark due to $8/40. Will all of $9 of Hallmark CRTs would be taken off as one is in grace?

Any idea what would happen if I also throw one CVSH vitamin of $11.29 along with 3 of $4 CRTs (one in grace) in the transaction? Or will it be better to just take the vitamins free in a separate transaction?

I don't have answers, but why only 2 x $3mQs for CG? If you only have 2 paper ones, there's $2/1dQ/L2C.

I have 3 x $3/6 Hallmark CRTs expired 8/6. If I get to CVS tomorrow, I planned to use them as an 8/40 filler, too, but b/c of grace I didn't think marking down would be an issue. Just getting over $9, so they aren't free w/ CRT and will count toward the threshold.
I don't try for overage w/ HM CRTs in grace anymore. I can't think of a time it actually worked.

Other CRTs do - I have 2 x $4 incontinence product that I plan to use on a $5xx item (and not part of 8/40), just not HM.

Since 8/40 is the biggest $ crt, it applies first and everything counts irrespective of whether it is free w/ crt or not. You have to instead worry about prorating so that there is enough value left for last crt to apply and give real and/or faux overage.

If anyone has one or two of the CRT's for $2/2 Gold Emblem chewy/salty granola bars it's a pretty good deal. I thought I had one in grace and a new one but didn't, needed granola bars for work so picked up two. They are B1G1 50% off. The Chewy dipped peanut butter granola bars are $3.29 so two boxes is $4.94 - $2/2 paid $1.47 a box. Would have been a bonus to have the extra $2/2 and paid $.94, $.47 a box but oh well I guesslaugh out loud

Thanks Sam. I have 3 HM $3 off 6 in grace and 2 $3 off 6 current. How much value of the HM products I should buy in order for all the 5 to apply. I have a 8 off 40, but I am not sure if I should use the HM along with the 8 off 40.

If you want to use all 5 HM crts together then at least 6 items totaling between $12.xx and $15. You can use it with 8/40 but then be at $12.xx after prorating.
