FYI, they will try to screw you out of your promo bonus, by claiming the account was not opened with promo code included.

since usually any promo will require you to wait from 90 days all the way to 6 months (perhaps more), they can easily get away with it.

not even showing the evidence will help.

Is this part of their sign up for 1 account, get 5 accounts offer? At this point, anyone who still trusts US Bank or Wells Fargo, who both have long histories of suspicious/fraudulent behavior, deserves to get scammed

I personally will never do anything with US Bank. I had a credit card with a local bank that was sold off to US Bank. Everything was fine for about a year until my payments were not being deposited correctly. (Back when the only option was to mail in a check). Sometimes my checks were not deposited for 2 - 3 weeks after mailing it to them, thus interest + fees got tacked on. I fought it and told them to close my card. I couldnt close the card because there was still a balance on it. After 20 - 25 minutes of having to explain everything to each customer service rep, every time I called them, I thought it was finally fixed. I stopped using the card, and destroyed it, but the bills kept coming every month Fast forward a couple of years, I'm getting served by the Sheriff's department. After talking to the local lawyer they hired, and going to his office with all of my evidence, the case was dropped. The bills stopped coming. I got a letter informing me my account has been zeroed out and my card was in good standing again. Then I had the following year fighting to get the mark off of TransUnion and Equifax. It finally did.

Please don't even try. Gave talked with customer service 5 times now, one hour min each time to get the bonus. Every time they verify the eligibility has met and still no bonus paid

I applied for their credit card and they offered me a $2000.00 limit. I have a 800 credit score with other cards at 10K -12K limits. I called them and requested a higher limit and was told to fill out the form on the webpage and wait for them to mail me a decision. Could be 7-10 days, they were not sure how long it would take. I just cancelled the card. Then I get a call from their main office wanting to know why I was dissatisfied, and after I explained, the lady told me this was company policy and there was nothing that could be done.

All big banks are scammers, I tried them all personally. I only deal with credit unions nowadays.
