since usually any promo will require you to wait from 90 days all the way to 6 months (perhaps more), they can easily get away with it.
not even showing the evidence will help.

I went to my local Huntington bank, They took over the local regional bank TCF. Wow what a change for the worse. If you are like me you probably have a change jar you toss in your loose change. I had a ziplock bag full of loose change. They would not take it! I had to have it all rolled up first! They told me it is the same policy at US Bank, Wells Farge, every one is like that now or so they told me. I ended up going to Walmart as they instructed me too, but right before I gave coinstar their 10%, I light bulb went on in my head. I went to the self serve check out and paid with my loose change instead of my debit card. It took a lot more time, but I was pissed and was on a mission. I ended up still needed to use my debit card to complete the transaction, because it was more than the coins I had. Next time I am going to do the same thing, but when it comes to paying the last part of the transaction, I will cancel it and see if the machine spits out the coins value in the form of paper money. What a pain in the arse and proof as the banks consolidate, cutomer service evaporates.
Closed my account right after.

This is not supporting big banks, its taking advantage of big banks, read the posts to do the hack.
Promo valid once per two years, so not yet again for me.

Annoying if it's the only way.
