I like mine. It's easy to open up, has great performance, is ultra portable, and overall works well. It is a little loud and thermals aren't the best, but you're going to compromise in this size with these specs.

My feelings exactly. It was the best laptop in its form factor about a year ago when I got it. I watched sooo many YouTube reviews about laptops. It is a little louder than I would like especially coming from a fanless MacBook Air but it performs so much better with that dedicated 3050ti and specs are so much better for the price point.
Isn't the ASUS Vivobook 14.5" at Costco for $799 a much better option? It has 14.5" OLED 2.8K 120Hz, i7-12700H, 12GB RAM, 512GB SSD. The RAM is 8GB on board and a 4GB stick. You can swap out the 4GB stick with a 32GB stick to get up to 40GB RAM. There is no discrete GPU on the ASUS.

Was just coming here to write the same. I bought the OLED unit and once you see the screen it's hard to imagine using a non-OLED display. It has some multi-core performance issues, although it's still very fast.

But this has dedicated gfx card? The Costco one does not.

Depends what you want to use it for. The Costco CPU is much more powerful, but is a lot more power hungry. Ryzen is flat out just better on battery and the 5800u is no slouch.
On the other side, the Swift X has a 3050 Ti which will allow for much better performance doing content creator stuff that can benefit from a dedicated gpu and even some gaming.
The OLED screen is nice, but the screen on the Swift X has pretty good color accuracy.
