I think what's being expressed is that the 680M is capable of handling "light gaming" on its own and some may prefer to forego the extra power, heat and bulk of adding discrete video to a slim & light laptop because of this.
If the keyboard is of any factor for you in making a decision, you may want to find one and try it out before deciding.
It's a shame because specs wise this laptop has everything I was looking for in a laptop

Is this really true? Just the bump in the CPU is enough for the 680M to outperform the 3050 ?

The battery life should be decent.
would it be the usb4 which this model doesn't have, doesn't support, but has and lenovo/amd crippled it?
i also want to use my 4k monitor but its only 2k if i want 60hz so i use it in 2k/60. I want to try this laptop but don't have usb-c to hdmi adapter.
BT 5.2 includes support for LE Audio transmission (Low Energy, could mean better battery life on the headset side) and LC3 audio codec so you won't sound like shit on calls with bluetooth headsets that don't support APT-X. I haven't seen a single device on the market with LC3, yet, but I want to future proof for that because I hate having extra dongles for RF wireless headphones so that my coworkers can understand me easily.
