Unless you are willing to pay more for Anker brand, I would do some comparison shopping. These ~300wh units with standard lithium cells are usually in the 120-170 dollar range as a regular non-sale price. Around $200 you get into LiFePo4 batteries which are way more durable in terms of charge cycles.
Bluetti EB3A is currently $240 but routinely goes down around $200. It recharges in 1 hour instead of 3, it comes with LiFePo4 batteries (They last longer than Li-Ion), and it can be used as a UPS.
I almost jumped on that Bluetti deal for $200 but after reading about all the problems folks were having, (new item) decided to wait for a 2nd gen or at least give it 6 more months for them to work out the bugs.
Am hoping they make either a bigger unit, or add an extra battery so I can charge one and use the other.

How big would you need to power a cpap for a night while camping?
Depends if you are using a humidifier or just a portable CPAP with no water tank. With no water tank or the humidifier turned off you should get multiple nights with the smaller unit here.

That throws me off. This is just a big fancy battery isn't not? It does not actually generate power?

The "generator" label is because "generates" 110v AC from low voltage DC solar panels. A bit misleading but the industry seems to have picked up the term and run with it.

$177 on Ebay

That one has notes about being refurbished! Be careful buying it! I almost got it for my friend, but noticed the lack of reviews and they said they liked the refurbished unit.

Right, it's not a generator. It's no wonder people bring it up every time. That word has a meaning and people looking for generators are going to find this battery pack with a handle when they do a search on it.
I'm not advocating for this anker device, but a gas generator itself -doesn't produce anything either at least until you add fuel. It turns the fuel into useful AC. This is more than a battery. It turns the solar into useable AC/DC. A solar panel is the equivalent of the fuel.

If someone doesn't bother to investigate what it is they are buying, that's their problem. I wouldn't purchase this one but whatever.

Maybe they should rephrase it -solar generator. No solar included.

It's a battery that stores the power created by solar cells.

Solar panel is not an equivalent of the fuel. Sunlight is.

They're referring to the eBay listing someone previously mentioned that is offering a cheaper one yet refurbished.

Where do you see info about UPS function? Don't see anything on thier site, I'm guessing it's the basic can stay plugged into shore with passthrough?

I got my bluetti 500wh for $250. Anker = pass. Chinese products that last only short time.

If someone replies with "look at your _____, it's made in China" then you don't understand what QA is.
Agreed. Not all Chinese products are bad quality, and yes my iPhone is made in China, but I also had bad experiences with Anker. I like the build quality of Anker brand, but it does NOT last. Everything I bought from Anker lasted just past warranty period. No more Anker for me.

I have this, and it's a great battery. Used it for camping and kept everything charged throughout the weekend. The light on the back is perfect for a little lighting at ground level without blinding anyone.

Regarding this vs paying more for the newer battery tech, unless you're using this daily, it'll last you many years. I use this three-to-four times per year. Paying more for newer battery tech would be a waste of money for me. It depends on the use case.
