Ehh, yes and no. I find that there are more applicable offers with Chase, but they are generally of lower value, like 15% off at Jersey Mike's. AMEX offers are great, but I won't find myself using the $100 off $500 purchase at Fairmont Hotels in Europe any time soon. I also really don't like that you can't see all the offers at AMEX since it's limited to 100 at a time, and probably 90-95% are completely useless for me.

Some of the offers on both cards are ridiculous.

My Chase Freedom had a whole ton of discounts. Old Navy 20%. Staples 20%. Home Depot 10%. Been awhile since I saw fairly decent coupons at Chase. All seem to cap at $100.

I have the 20% off on my freedom card. Anything worthwhile at BestBuy though? Maybe I'll be able to use it towards galaxy watch 5 pro accessories when it comes out.

I think he means you can get additional value in Lowe's GC with the 10% discount offered by BestBuy, which is in addition to the cash back through the Chase offer.
