These bots are becoming more powerful every year. So this year's new mid ranger will outperform 2 years old flagship on pure cleaning aspects. For e.g. this year's Q5 has 2700 PA suction power compared with 2000 PA on S5 Max. Mopping is still below average on most bots. So compare bots only on their vacuuming and mapping features alone.
interesting that the S5 is worth more than the S6. anyone familiar with these able to provide some personal insight?
The biggest difference is that the S5 Max has a separate water reservoir 100ml larger than the one on the S6 Pure. Mopping on both of these units is meh so that shouldn't be a big deal. The S6 Pure has a longer runtime than the S5 Max (180 min vs 150 min) but they both have the same suction ratings. However, most tests I've seen on Youtube show the S6 Pure has lower suction, which is likely how they got the longer runtime out of the same battery. Overall, the S5 Max is a better unit, but the difference is negligible.
For better mopping, the S7 has "sonic mopping", which vibrates the mop back and forth really fast throughout the mopping cycle and greatly improves the mopping on these units.

I think its a great deal if you don't want the dock. Also ebay gives you 2 years of warranty which you don't get anywhere
Buyer beware.
